About the Artist
I'm Lee Baker, a retired Marine CWO3 turned artist. I enjoy creating detailed artwork inspired by history, the military, iconic figures, and whatever else is interesting.
I draw by hand with graphite, charcoal and colored pencil. I don't trace at any point in the process. I lay out each drawing with a grid system and a proportional divider, then build up the shading with a range of graphite pencils.
My subjects include Marines and other service members, historical figures, Greek mythology and pop culture.
Prints of my work are available as digital downloads in my Etsy shop. For questions, please message me through Etsy.
